Dr. Jules Lusman uses the New Ebrium: Yag Laser, it is especially designed for skin resurfacing and treatment of wrinkles. In the past, the CO2 - Carbon Dioxide Laser produced very good results, however, at the cost of painful treatments and prolonged healing time. The Ebruim Laser generates the exact wavelength of light (at 2.94 microns) which is optimally absorbed by water. Because skin cells are mostly water, the laser's energy is almost entirely directed into the specifically targeted cells resulting in instantaneous removal of only damaged skin, allowing new skin to quickly regrow in its place.
